Same problem like some others external players plays fine, internal don't even start...

There's a lot of ATI drivers that do not work with MP, for better guidance see hoborg's post describing which driver to use.

I now have SAF, what meaned older Catalyst, newer DX9, new MP SVN, uninstallation of CCCP, and now everything works.
