    Hi guys, Installed 1.1 RC1 this morning, and have had very little luck watching any videos since.

    In music videos, I hear sound but can see only black. In Moving Pics, nothing plays anymore.

    Am using SAF 4 for codecs.

    Have freshly re-installed MP, and everything else I can think of. I cant see anything in the logs to indicate the issue.... Recorded TV is fine (h.264), as is DVD's

    Any help would be fantastic

    UPDATE:

    Codec issues;

    Uninstall SAF, HAALI, XVID everything

    Install Haali Media Splitter, enable for AVI
    Install FFDHSOW Tryouts

    Enable in FFDshow for you files.

    And also using PDVD 8/9 for DVD and H.264

  • About The Project

    The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

    In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

    The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.
