I'm a newbie to TvServer, and installed it last week and all was fine. I could record and timeshift, and I got good TS files from the recording.

However, I have been uninstalling/reinstalling different SVNs, but now I cannot record. Or rather, all appears to be recording but I end up with a 0-byte TS file. Timeshifting is fine - I can see it creating and writing to the TS files there, it's just manual or timed recordings on any channel that produce the empty file.

I have, as I said, done complete uninstalls/reinstalls. I even tried regsvr32 /U to unregister tswriter.ax and re-register it again, but no luck. I have pointed it to different directories to record, but still the same.

The logs don't show much, apart from a lot of

03-12-2007 15:54:05 TechnoTrend: DescrambleMultiple: serviceId:6301

in the tswriter log, but I have no CI Slot on my Skystar HD card and am only accessing FTA channels.

Odd thing is, if I set the recording format to MPG, I don't seem to be able to start the TVService.

Help please - I don't know what to try next.
