Well documented situation that many posts in the past have talked about, I could not find an answer though... If I restart TVService it seems to fix the problem for a while, but as soon as I change channels it can be triggered.... I do not have this problem on my Vista system, though I don't know if this is related...

This is an on and off kind of thing, can not always reproduce....

All logs supplied, please tell me if any thing else is needed..

Please post full logs (both server and client). Make sure that when you grab your logs the last attempt to view a channel is a failed one (only the last attempt is kept in the TsReader log).

Even better would be to run MP in widowed mode and do following loop to collect the log files:

    pre-requirement: start tv

    1) delete all log files
    2) change channel
    3) if channel change success then go to step #1, otherwise collect all the log files

This way it will be much less guessing for the dev(s) when looking at the logs.

This has been confirmed to be a bug, and a fix is already in the works. But it is quite specific, as it relates to "Reinitialize TVService on resume". From your posts I gather that your issue is not related to suspend/resume and/or "Reinitialize TVService" is not enabled.

However it is quite possible that the underlying cause is the same. If for some reason StreamingServer dies while TVService is running, a new instance will be created that will conflict the existing (zombied) one. If my assumption is correct, the StreamingServer.dll that I posted in the above thread should fix your issue too.

If it does then we need to find out why StreamingServer dies.
