Can't FF/RWD or anything during DVD (1 Viewer)

I can use all these controls normally, in livetv etc.

But when it comes to DVD, i can't do anything. Not even change my volume. I can use my keybaord no problems, but my remote is a no no. It can be used for navigating the menu but after that nothing. It's almost as if HIP is detecting it as another program?

Is it infact another program? Do i tell HIP to control that program? What program is it?

Unless your using an external player than no, it doesnt user a different program.

What remote is it? Have you tried it without HIP?

It's the remote icnluded with a DNTV Live Pro

I updated the drivers for it, to the MCE ones. now most controls work fine, except for DVD menu.

I tried to use HIP for that, but couldn't get hip to recognize it.

Anyway, that's a HIP problem and not a mp problem. The only thing in MP that could fix it, is if i could CHANGE the keymappings in mp itself.

ie. change "D" for dvd menu, to something else.

I've been told this is possible in the menu, but though i can SEE it, i can't work out how to CHANGE it
