Can't find Both DVB Tuners (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Complete newbie here..

Still configuring Mediaportal after switching form a very unstable MCE.

The main problem is MP is not detecting both tuners in my Hauppage Nova-TD USB Stick. One tuner works just fine, but the configuration tool can't see the other one. They were both fine in MCE.

The hauppage Diversity tool is set to "two tuners"

I'm not using TV server, basically because I can't see what benifit it would give me, and when I tried it, I got loads of SQL errors.

Anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

I'm using MP Version 1.0.0.0 RC4.

Hi, MP1.0 final ha been released. I suggest a clean install, with all the latest drivers for your TV tuner and see how MP with TV Server goes.

I installed MP1.0 with TV Server on my PC last night, and I also have a Hauppauge dual tuner, and it worked fine.

One of the biggest benefits of using TV Server is that it has much better automatic card detection capabilities. I think you've just found out the hard way why you should use it

As nitro said, do a complete uninstall (including SQL) and start from scratch with 1.0 Final. Also make sure you check out the requirements section and make sure in particular you have the dvb fix installed.
