Been running a media center PC for a while now using MCE & a skybox, so I have a legit sky freeview card. Decided recently to build a new HTPC as follows; case: Zalman HD 160 Processor: AMD 64 3200 RAM: corsair DDR 400 2GB MB: MSI neo platinum GF3 Video card: Geforce 5900XT SAT cards: 2x Twinhan DVB-S +CI (latest drivers) Cam: 2x Dragon cams with Predetor 3.42 firmware for NDS MP: MediaPortal_0.2_RC4 with SVN 06/14/2006 OS: MS XP MCE I started using MCE but I could not detect all the channels particularly channel 4 & 5 so a friend suggested MP, managed to detect more than enough channels, the Zalman remote/ case works perfectly. able to record one side while watching another etc. The only problem I have is the Common Interface which I need to descamble channel 4 & 5. Twinhan have this plugin for MCE but it doesn't seem compatible with MP as when I open it it always looking at MCE. I've tried stopping all the services referring to MCE but it doesn't make any difference so it can't be compatible with MP. I've spent some time in MP configuration but I can't find anywhere I can set-up the CI, I know I need to put in the sky box serial numbers. I've also have a look around the forum but haven't see anything which tell me how to set this up. If anyone can offer some help or advice I would really appreciate it. thanks in advance. stevi
