Before the last svn everything was correct, now for example prison break comes up with part of the filename as name and no info, the show info banners etc is correct.. deleted the db and tried again, same error, this happens with many of my new episodes on other series as well.. for example the shield 6x8 and 6x9 is just called jmt(jmt rip) while the other episodes are ok.

series index 75340, the episode and season index is all correct, parsing ok, but seems like it doesnt retrieve the info online for the episodes, just the main info about the series.

I have Prison Break fully imported on my HTPC so I know it used to work, ep images and all.

Hmm, thats weird. I'll have to try this myself. Specifically what Season/Ep does it not work with?

Umm, bryhon, you lost me there between your works now....no wait it doesnt msgs ;-)

So, if I understand correctly Prison Break now works for you? So does Seinfeld? Did those two both ask you for dvd/aired ordering and which did you choose, and which choices and worked and which didn't.

    But Planet Earth doesnt?
Does it parse Planet earth correctly? Did it ask you for the prefered order, and if so which did you choose?

Please always keep in mind when posting things that unless I'm able to reproduce your exact steps it's nothing more than a guessing game ;-)

Btw, don't expect any results before the weekend, I'm merely gathering bugs for now.

    Thanks for all the reports

Both Prison Break and planet earth i choosed dvd and not aired. When i did that the file names was just the file names and no info online were added. Seinfeld worked when i choosed dvd also.

When i deleted the database and choosed air instead of dvd the info was retrieved and everything became ok.

    Sorry for the poor description

Ok, this is not a problem with the plugin, in fact the plugin handles things exactly as its supposed to. It comes down to faulty/incomplete data in the online database. Heres whats happening:

As soon as a single episode in the online db has the fields for dvd-season and dvd-episodeno filled out, the db reports back that this series has an alternative dvd order and the plugin will allow you to make a selection. Both Prison Break (the first few eps) and Planet Earth (1x8 and possible others) have a few eps where this info is filled and, but most episodes (like the ones you requested) don't have this info.

If you then choose this dvd-order, the plugin searches for an episode that has, lets say, season 2 and episode 2 in the dvd fields, totally ignoring the regular season/episode fields (which are used for the standard aired ordering). If it can't find such an episode, then the episode you requested does not exist and it will display the parsed title from your local file. This is its intended behavour.

All I can say is when in doubt, always use aired ordering (this is the order you see in the online db). If you chose a wrong ordering, delete the entire series and reimport it (no need to delete the entire db).

Hope you better understand whats happening now :)
