If your using the Hauppauge card on the box, then easier way is not to use IRSS. 1. Install the Hauppauge Blaster Config and IR32.EXE from your Hauppauge disk or Hauppauge support site. 2. Configure your Hauppauge Blaster Config to your set top box, and use test to see if it turns your box off and on. Also make sure your blaster sensor is positioned right on your box. 3. Launch TV Server Config for MP, and go to plugins. There enable ServerBlaster plugin. Once this is done set the ServerBlaster plugin to use Hauppauge under Blaster Type. After all this you can open the MP Config and go to remotes and set this to use Hauppauge Remote. You can also tinker with the Hauppauge Config files and changes button combinations around. I hope this helps some.
