Ok, I have tried and tried to get MP to work but keep running into issues and I think I've deduced it to the SQL server not working on this computer. I've also poured through the forums but can't seem to find out what is wrong or how to fix it. I've downloaded MP v1.1.0 and after configuring the TV-server and configuration, I then run MP and it almost loads all the way, then crashes/restarts the computer. Upon restarting, an error pops up that says, "SQLDUMPER library failed initialization. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall then re-run setup." I've now reinstalled and uninstalled MySQL many times, same error upon restart, and then I found a post in the forum where somebody uses xampp to load the MySQL. I tried to get into XAMPP's administration of the server by typing http://127.0.0.1 but the browser says it can't find it. PLEASE HELP!! This is why I think it's the SQL. Would this be a correct assumption?

I really would like to use MP but this has been painful. Is there anyway somebody can help me? I also tried to create a log file but it crashed the computer as well. I'm not sure how I should proceed. Thanks in advance.

OS: XP sp3
Tuner card: HDHomerun
Not sure what other information I need to include.

Try and upgrade your os and give it a shot.

Do a clean format sometimes its as simple or should I say complicated as that.
