************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I have uninstalled my old MP. Cleaned the registry for all traces of mediaportal and IR-server suite.

Thanks

EDIT:
These are the steps I followed:
Un-installed old MP
Un-installed IR-server suite
rebooted
Started the MP1 RC1 program - made a dir c:\mediaportal, where deploytool is located.
Started deploytool from here

    Your problem is that under c:\mediaportal\deploy the MSSQL*.EXE is partially downloaded.
    Please delete it and retry...

    Thank you for the suggestion.

    I have seached, but can't find any traces of MSSQL* - do you know where I should look

    No luck.
    A new error box opens: "Windows can't find "C:\DOCUME~1\steen\LOKALE~1\Temp\Deploy" Verify that you wrote the correct name, and try again. If you want to search for a file press "Start" and click on "Search" (Translated from Danish).

    A further note, I found out that I have a Dir in Programmer named :Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition - but there is no exe file in this directory (or subdirectory)

    Also I have newer seen Deploy tools download the MSQL software - it just throws an error.

    sbp,

    run once again "MediaPortal_Setup_1.0RC1_refesh.exe". On the very first screen you have a directory where the files will be unpacked. Go there and take a look at the subdir Deploy.

    Ok.

    It seems to narrow it down. There must be some problems here as some of the files is 0 kb.

    Should I delete these files and try again?

    OK, did that. but still no go.

    Please see the screen-dump.
    It still makes 0 kb files, and it even stalls with "sqlexpr32_ENG.exe"

    I have tried to go to the URL from where deploytool seems to download the files from --- Homepage of install.team-mediaportal.com ... but didn't find any files to download.

    Regarding Proxy - not that I'm aware off. I have a normal PC - nothing special here.

    Do you have another suggestion for me to try?
