Can't play mounted SVCD's (1 Viewer)

DVD's pley fine with my MP installation i.c.w. PowerDVD6, so I have a working MPEG2 codec installed.

I have installed the latest Daemontools installed andmounting works flawless. But I can't get MP to play mounted SVCD files. When mounted MP says a VideoCD was found and if I want to view it. When I select "Yes" I see the mounted VideoCD but I cant play it. The moviefile on the videocd has a .DAT extension. As far as I can find out it's a file that needs a MPEG2 codec.

I've selected for DVD and Movie playback the Cyberlink DVD codec.

Anyone found a solution to this 'problem'.
