Recording and playback of TV on my Mediaportal pc works great. Except for displaying recorded HD TV. I can watch HD TV direct through Mediaportal (e.g. 'One HD' here in Oz) but when I want to watch a recorded HD TV show Mediaportal freezes for a few minutes (rest of computer is still active). After a while control is returned to MP but is hasn't shown anything.

Playing the recording with Windows Media Center displays the show but it looks like it is stuck in fast forward mode.

Have attached a log file as well.

    Hi MikBix

Is it possible that you have similar problems to those mentioned here? Those people have trouble with live TV... but the similarities (issues with 1440x1080 Australian channels, log entries) are striking. Have you tried different codec settings - perhaps try using Cyberlink as your MPEG 2 codec for TV (TV codec settings are used for playing recordings).

Problem is solved. Installed 1.2beta on the weekend and also played around with installing & uninstalling SAF 6 & 5.02. Went back to 5.02. I can now play HD TV. Looks like a codec issue on my end.
