Cant play recordings (1 Viewer)

Hi all
since the instalation of the tv server I'm not able to play my recordings anymore. Watching live TV works great on the TV server PC and on a client PC. Also the recording works fine.
But if I select a recorded movie for play just nothing happen.

I hope somebody can help

Can't play recordings with TV Server

Ever since I converted from the standalone MP to the client/server MP I have not been able to view recordings. I tried to view a recording from the past but it wouldn't play. The screen starts to change as if MP is going to play the recording, but then it immediately reverts to the prior screen. I've looked at Mantis via the Bugtracker link on the home page, but I don't see any issues relating to this problem. What am I missing or doing wrong?

MP Version: 0.2.2.0

I dont use TV server but I had the same problem a few times.

I managed to get it to play by converting from dvr.ms to mpeg.

File types

I have two types of files, .avi and .mpg, neither one of them plays.

I had the same problem since upgrade to the Client/Server version of Mediaportal. What I found was that the recording played back just fine on one of the client PC's but not on the server.

Thought this was probably a codec issue so I downloaded the latest version of FFDshow and installed it and everything now runs fine. Maybe worth a try.

Recordings finally visible

I downloaded SVN 12895 and now at least I can see the new shows ater they have been recorded. I can't see any recordings made prior to SVN 12895.

While it does behave slightly differently, it still does not play.

I tried to download ffdshow. I ran the self installing .exe, but now what? There seems to be no instructions as to how to make this work with MP. Help!
