I have a Black and Gold DVB -T PCI card in my system to pull sky from my sky STB, I can see the signal in the black gold software but I can't even see the card in Media Portal. Do I have to manually add the card? I am able to see the nova T 500 card .

Some guidence would be greatly recieved.

I have been looking around the forums and it seems some of you have this card working and I can see referances in the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml, so I know it must work. I am using the drivers that are shown in the Wiki. So I am just in need of a little extra help please

I found another post that refered a poster to look at the logfile. I did this and as you can see it has found the card but it seems to think it is a Genesis which the Black golddoes appear as but the 8800 seems to be a PixelView PlayTV@P7000

The log file is below.

I have spent the entire weekend messing around with this card and MP one thing I have noticed is I'm using version 5.17 driver NOT 5.11 as mentioned in the wiki, would this be the problem? I have tried installing the older driver but I have had no luck it keeps to the 5.17 version.

Also in my searching i have found a swapper tool to swap between xp and MCE would that be of any use.

Btw I installed TV server and I was able to see the card

That's what i would have done in the first place, but it's not pointed out, that the inbuilt TV is no longer worked on.

BTW to get your T500 to play nicely with standby (its 2 usb tuners) set the delay under TVServer setup\general\application settings TVCards get detected for 20 secs and under TVServer setup\plugins\powerscheduler tick reinitialise tuners on resume.
