I can't see the FDDShow video codec in the setup menu!
When I'm playing a movie or DVD in MP, the screen get's some kind of line in the middle of the screen (Mostly when images is moveing fast). I tried playing the same movie file in Windows MediaPlayer and it worked perfectly. I checked too see what WMP was use for the playback - FDDshow. But in my MP settings FDDshow is not listed. What can I do???

    Hi,

    the line is called "tearing" and has not much to do with the selected codec.
    Try turning "Use Exclusive DirectX Mode" on:
    Configure->General

    HTH, Flip.
