Hi,

i have a Terratec Cinergy Hybrid XS USB TV Card. There are some entries in CaptureCardDefinitions.xml for this card but with an different PID, so MP doesn't recognize it when i try to configurate MP. My PID is 005e. Can someone help me to get my card working?

Thank you very much.

Hi dadio,
I currently have the identical problem. Did you find a solution?
Do you use the analog interface or only the digital one?
Thanks

Hi there,

I had the same problem (couldn't select this card on setup) and tried a lot. For example all the things with GraphEdit to get my cinergy hybrid xs to work.

Finally I solved the problem by installaing a clean MP and updated it with the last nightly SVN builds (SVN Snapshot). This solved my Problem. Follow the steps you can find here:

http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/UserGuides/SVN-nighly-builds

The reason is, that in this snapshot all the new cards and card revisions are implemented. Don't use the latest stable SVN builds! This dosn't work!!! I tried it out.

The only way it possible could work with the latest stable SVN builds would be (I didn't checked that way, but it should work) to download the latest "CaptureCardDefinitions.xml" here (after updating with the stable SVN builds):

https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot...l/xbmc/bin/Release/CaptureCardDefinitions.xml

and replace this file in the root directory from MP. This probably should fix the problem too. But I din't checked this out.

But it absolutly worked with the nightly SVN builds!!!! And it works great! Even I have a very slow system and an old graghics card every thing works fine!!! great program :) and thanx for it!!!

And I hope I could help you :)

Best regards and good luck!!!

Jörn
