Can't show any video (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone.

Just installed MediaPortal on my old laptop to try it out.
From what I can tell, everything is installed properly, but I can't play ANY video files.

I have the latest K-Lite codec pack installed and don't have any issues viewing video files in Windows Media Player.
But when I start viewing video files in MediaPortal, I get a pop-up that video can't be played with codecs listed.
I attached the screen shot.

I will setup the logging later this weekend, but I thought maybe somebody knows what's going on here...

Have you configured the codec settings for video in the MediaPortal Config-App?

I believe I did.
I choose "ffdshow" for all video and audio.

Try running filmerit, (link in signature) and see if it shows any errors.

Hi all, it's my first post in this forum and i want to thank evryone contributing this good program!
I resume this topic because i have the same problem of boriska00. I installed the latest ffdshow and set it in the MediaPortal Config-App renderer option, but i'm not still able to play any file
Using kmplayer or another external player evrything is fine...
I attached my log files, hoping in your help!

PS: watching tv (dvb program) is working fine...
PS2: nothing changes using EVR, i tried although i'm using win xp

UPDATE: i solved the problem installing SAF 4.0... now evrything seems to work fine!
