Can't start Conf crash at "remote section" (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Skin: Default (right now. else StreamedMP)
Windows Version: W7 SP1 X64
CPU Type: Intel I7 930 (2.8GHz)
HDD: Intel X25-M 80GB
Memory: Corsair 6gb (1600MHz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5
Video Card: Gigabyte ATI 5750
Video Card Driver: 11.5
Sound Card: RME Hammerfall 9632
Sound Card AC3: optical out
Sound Card Driver: 3.085
1. TV Card: None.
Power Supply: Corsair AX850
TV: Sharp LC-46LE700E
TV - HTPC Connection: HDMI

i got some wierd problem here... i try to install 1.1.2 or 1.2.0 Alpha or 1.2.0 BETA and the installation seems like it is completed but i think it is not complete.

when i try to start "Configuration.exe" it stop at "Adding remote section..." and i check the logs and after that i run "MediaPortal Debug-Mode" and it crashes .NET JIT error message

"System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.xml'.
File name: 'C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.xml'"



when i go to "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\" there is no "MediaPortal.xml".


i have no clue how to solve this problem... any tips how to get a log at all?

noone? i actually cant even use MediaPortal because of this... help me make a log ?????

i think the installation does not even complete even if it tells me so... (mediaportal.xml is missing for one...)

Try to copy this file into Configuration folder and redo the settings.

it did not help me to start "Configuration.exe" but i started "MediaPortal Debug-Mode" again and that worked... PROGRESS!!!!!
