Can't start MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

When I try to start Mediaportal, I get the following error:



I installed framework in the following order:

1.1
1.1 update
2.0
2.0 update

May be you can help me with this.

    it seems that you either have not installed .net framework 1.1 + .net framework 2 , or something went wrong during the installation of .net framework.

    Motherboard Bios: newest revision
    Video Card: 7600 gt
    Video Card Driver: 9.1.3.1
    Sound Card: SB Live
    Sound Card Driver: 5.12.2.252
    1. TV Card: Skystar2
    1. TV Card Type: DVBS
    1. TV Card Driver: 4.3.2.9999

    Framework 1.1 and 2.0 are installed, other programmes are running without any problems.

    Despite of this you should try reinstalling .net 2.0. We've only seen such behaviour with non-installed or broken .net 2.0 frameworks so far.

    Can nobody help me with this problem?
    i installed win xp again, with all updates an with framework 1.1 and 2, but i got the same error.

    Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well.
