Hi,

Did you ever get a resolution to this? I also have the same issue over here in Kiwiland down under.

I have a Nova 500-T TV Tuner Card which is specifically referred to in the Powerscheduler Plugin configuration of TV Server for the delay in re-initialising TV Tuner cards. I have mine set to a 10 second delay, however my machine is pretty grunty - they say some machine require 20 seconds or even more. It's a bit frustrating if you wakeup the machine yourself as you will have to wait this time before starting MP - if you don't, the startup will delay on the "Loading Plugin's" screen.

Hope that helps.

Regards

Graham

Ms Sql express

No i still have the problem ...

I think that the problem is MS SQL Express, according to the log, i fail to login to the sql database if the computer has been in sleepmode or if try to watch some specific channels like TV3 & TV5. Dont know why i do like this.

wounder if MYSQL works better then MS SQL?? or if there is some more configuration in the sql admin that need to be done.

Hi Again,

Do you use the Powerscheduler Plugin to put the PC to sleep? If so, it could be the re-initialisation of the TV Tuner as mentioned above i.e. a delay to let the TV Tuner startup before TV Server starts up. Just go into the configuration of the Powerscheduler Plugin for the setting.

If this doesn't work, a number of people have had luck with MCEStandbyhandler which has other delay settings.

Let me know if you need more details.

Cheers

Graham

Still problem

The major problem is that if try some channels like tv3 and tv5 i get the message cant start time shift. And if watch discovery i get very low sound for some reson i dont know. I have turned off the sleep mode so that problem is no more.

Are these 2 channels braodcasted in a different format or from the same place to your others? If so, it might be something specific to them. If not, it might be something to do with your mapping settings in TV Server.

I know that in order to tune in all TV stations in Kiwiland I had to set to "Cable" and "Australia" and search - weird?? Perhaps search in the forums to see if others in you country have had the same issue?

I periodically have issues with "no timeshifting" as well, but I loose all stations as it cannot see any TV Tuner cards. I have to re-boot if this happens.
