Synopsis:

I did several clean installs of windows with all above + MP with or without 01-05 CVS.

When manual search for channels, every channel is found and i can see it in the small window. Also, the Hauppage software itself shows the channels.
But when i go to MyTV, i can't click the "On/Off" button. Besides that, the Timeshift button is gray, so you can't click that one at all.

Tried several codecs, those who come with MP and new ones (nvidia PureVideo).

Everything else works like a charm (trailers, movies, music, etc), the only problem is the TV..

Docter Phil, can you help me? :p

    Hi,

    After autotuning, make sure all the channels which were found are actually assigned to your card. To do so, goto Setup --> Television --> TV Channels --> TV Cards tab and make sure all available channels are assigned to your card.

    If that doesn't help, please start MP, try starting TV, stop MP and then post your mediaportal.log here.

    Do you have enough space on drive C: ?
    Try deleting the card1 subdirectory, after that run Setup again so MP can create the directory again.

    Now i'm installing XP again and won't install the latest drivers, but the drivers which comes with the Asus board itself.
    Let's hope for the best...

    As hope fade away.. i still have the same problem.

    The weird thing is that it did worked last thursday for a while, till i rebooted.

    Somehow i think it has to do something with Timeshift function which can't be switched on or something like that.

    I'll keep on trying, but get more deperate every minute.

    Been busy for at least 40 hours now to get a working htpc.

    Must.... get... it.... to.... work!

    Ill do another clean install and post the log here if it doesn't work. Hope someone can give me the solution.

    It's a problem with the Stream Buffer Engine from what I can make out.
    These are the files responsibile...

    sbe.dll, sbeio.dll, wmvcore2.dll

    You may need to re-install SP2 and see if that fixes it for you.
    Basically it's an OS problem and MediaPortal is reporting the issue - it's not a MediaPortal bug.
