Can't tune BBC One HD (1 Viewer)

Has anyone else had trouble tuning the new BBC One HD channel on Freesat? Everything else is working fine (inc. BBC HD) but I can't find BBC One HD.

I refreshed the Satellite list as well as doing a new scan for channels but no dice. I also tried creating a new channel by copying the BBC HD settings and changing the SID to 6941 and the channel no. to 108, but still nothing.

I don't think it exists until later this evening does it? 7pm I believe.

The name at the moment is just 6941, is showing a placeholder at the moment

I re scanned earlier and is working fine, is not replacing BBC HD that is still in it's normal place

tis working and broadcasting a page saying it starts at 7pm.
On same transponder as BBC HD but as mentioned above it is helpfully called 6941

BBC4 won't be transmitting on satellite at the minute. AFAIK BBC4 is not moving anywhere

Are you sure? That's a bummer if it's true - they don't transmit it on terrestrial round here (very limited DVB-T coverage, that's why we're using DVB-S). They moved it to a different frequency a couple of weeks ago - why would they do that if they were going to kill it so soon?

If they're really killing off BBC Four on freesat then does that mean we lose CBBC/CBeebies (can't remember which one) as well? That would really cause some fuss

(Or did you mean BBC4 as in Radio 4?)

EDIT: I've just realised what you meant - literally "at the minute", as in "it's not on during the day" (it'll be CBBC or CBeebies at the moment). Whew - panic over! Ignore me...

Ahh ok a rescan is on the cards then...

Where did you find it's not broadcasting?

Satellite only transmits when it is on so you will not pick up the channel on a scan until after 7pm
