Unfortunately, I do neither have the time not the skills to write my own theme. But by changing my theme today I realized that the following feature could be a valuable inprovement in MP (I have seen this feature in Meedio and different portal and CMS software).
The MP plugins require a specific xml file. As soon as this xml file is not available in a theme, the error message "Missing of invalid file <PluginName>.xml" appears. It would be much better if the theme architecture inherited this file from a basic theme in this case. Like that, plugin developers would need to provide two xml files - one for normal and the other for widescreen.
