Categories in My TVSeries?? (1 Viewer)

I'm using My TVSeries for a while, actually I have more than 200 series on it, but they're mixed, tv-series,anime, cartoon,etc.. cause thetvdb.org search and tvseries works ok.

What I need and maybe more people too, it's to know if there's any open issue to create a categorie maker, for example categories creation on "Moving Pictures" is great, you enter to plugin and the you can create categories, sub-categories, etc.. and even views for no-watched, etc...

There is any way to do something similar in MyTvSeries, I know that there's views and you can add series one by one to it, but then you have to select one as default, I wish it would be a selector page for categories or something like that.

Thanks for all your work and take that like an improvement issue that I think the plugin need in cases with so many series on htpc.

You can actually use the viewTags view as default then, this will give you a MovPic alike feeling where you would see all the 'views' you created as menu items, and then each view will show the series you added to that view.

This does mean you need to manually tag shows to be a part of those view (you can also map a show to multiple views).

However it should be possible to create views that use the 'Genre' field to auto-add shows that fall under that Genre. A possible enhancement to MP-TVSeries would be that those dynamic views get auto-created as they do for MovPic. -- This is already a part of it, I just never used it myself, so wasn't sure.
