I was using Nero Drivespeed successfully in MP0.2.2 but immediately when I installed 0.2.3, I noticed this option to silence the opticals so getting rid of another unneeded program was welcome.
I can't remember exactly at which speed it was configured before but for sure it was dead silent.
Now with the integrated option in 0.2.3, I cannot get it silent when I play an audio cd - a DVD runs at 8x
As I read in a thread here, I switched back to the default speed before uninstalling Nero Drivespeed.
With Nero Drivespeed, I had noticed that you cannot just choose any speed but whatever I choose with the integrated MP option, nothing seems to change.
Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance!
