Changing Background Image (1 Viewer)

I wish to modify the background image in the home page. I modified the file below but when PM is launched there was no change.

C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\BlueTwo wide\Media\background.png

Am I modifying the right file?

you did change the right one. but all gfx is cached for performance reasons.

you'll have to delete those cache files to force MP to rebuild them.

depending on your version you'll find them (in one of those places) here:

- root/documents & settings/application data/team mediaportal/(mediaportal)/Cache/[SKIN]
- /program files/team mediaportal/mediaportal/chache/[SKIN]
- /program files/team mediaportal/mediaportal/Skins/[SKIN]/packedgfx*.*

I cleared the cache here:

- /program files/team mediaportal/mediaportal/chache

In Windows Vista the cache folder stored at:
[X:]\ProgramData\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\Cache\

In this new version I could not locate the Cache folder. Where is it located?

in XP and vista it should be in documents and settings/all users/application data/team media portal or something like that. I'm going from memory.
It may also be in the program data directory on Vista, depending on your set up...
