Changing my tv guide layout (1 Viewer)

I am currently running v0.2.0.4

Some while back I seem to remember a post and download available for reducing the number of channels displayed in the TV Guide.

Can someome please point me to this, as I am fed with a heap of channels where I cannot read the txt at a distance.

Please note that the file to modify is "mytvguide.xml" - not "tvguide.xml" as I initially stated...

Not quite what I was looking for. I have all the correct channels displayed. The tvguide is correctly showing 12 channels, which is rather small to read.

I seem to remember someone writing something so that you could select the number of channels, i.e. 6,8,10 or 12.

I can always use the link you mentioned, but I really am not too confident with messing about with the xml files.

Yes, if you scroll down in the thread Taipan linked you to then you will see that he was talking about doing exactly that, modifying the number of displayed channels. I believe to get the text larger as well you need to edit the fonts.xml file (or similar, can't remember the exact name) and change the font size as well.

There is currently no easy way of doing this, as it would be too hard to the setup to know what size font, etc would completely break the skin layout. So I am afraid you will have to get your hands dirty editing the xml.

There are threads around of people with the same problem as you who have successfully increased the font size and decreased the number of channels shown, I believe, so perhaps you could track one of them down using the search function.
