Hi everyone

my config:
MediaPortal Version: MediaPortal-svn--09-15-2006--19-47-Rev10317
Windows Version: Windows XP MCE
CPU Type: AMD Sempron 3200+
HDD: 250GB SATA
Memory: 512MB
Motherboard: ASUS M2NPV-VM
1. TV Card: TechnoTrend 1500-C budget
1. TV Card Type: DVB-C
1. TV Card Driver: DBA
MPEG2 Video Codec: MPV
MPEG2 Audio Codec: MPA
Remote: MCE

After changing the recording path from c:\documents and settings\username\my documents\my recordings to another partition on my drive (D:\recorded_tv) timeshift does not work anymore. When changing it back to the profile "my recordings" folder it works again, but I do not have sufficient space on the c: drive.

Hints anyone?

Stefan

replying to my own post...

I was able to resolve the issue by renaming the folder from d:\recorded_tv to d:\rectv, i.e. I renamed the folder, changed the folder in the configuration and it now works. go figure.

Somehow i have the same problem, but i did so many reinstalls, that even now, it doesn't even work with the standard directory anymore.

It works when i install it, but after a restart of the pc.. it goes bad

Seems that something still is wrong with the tv engine... hope i have more luck with the new engine.

sounds like you have a corrupted tvdatabase, remove all programs from tvguide prior to deleting tvdatabase.xml, re add your card(s) and then should be fine, as long as a card folder is produced in your new recording destination.
