Recently while searching for new backdrops to add to my system I stumbled upon this link.

Apparently this weather deal rotates different backdrops (rain, cloudy...) depending on the forecast for the day.

Is something that MediaPortal could do. I think this would be cool.

Not by default, but I see no problem in developing a process-plugin that polls the forecast every 15 minutes and updates the background-picture of myweather.xml. Could be really simple, look at the source-code for the plugin "RSSTicker" by Sambal for inpiration
