Hello,

Since upgrading to the latest SVN, I now get Channel is scrambled on all pay channels.
Looks like the CI is not beeing used.

I tried in MP client, and also with the preview button in TVServer config. Both the same.
I saw this a few SVN's ago, but didn't pay attention to it because I assumed I did something wrong.
I reverted back to my ghost backup. Today, having the same issue all over again, but now I'm sure that
I did everything as it should.

Attached are the log files.

Thanks for looking...

I often have this problem, but it has nothing to do with MP.
In my case, it helps to remove and reinsert the CI module.
Might be some bug in the decryption software. In some forums I read something about overheating the module...

Sounds fair, but rebooting should do the same, no?
It's not intermittend.

New SVN= always Error Channel is scrambled
Old SVN= OK

In my case, rebooting didn't help . You have to switch off the PC completely, i.e cut off the electricity, this should work, too. Rebooting does not always reinitialize hardware, since only windows is restarted

Hi,

I tried to:

Re-insert the CI module -> Not OK
Reboot (Power down and pull the plug) -> Not OK

Unfortunatly we don't have the same issue, but thanks anyway.

Best Regards

Were you able to fix this? I'm having problems with my RC1 installation, where I can only decrypt "TV VLAANDEREN" channels (belgian) and not "CANAL DIGITAAL" channels (dutch). I was able to do this on my hardware decoder, and when using it on MythTV. I've got the official CAM from TVVLAANDEREN/CANALDIGITAAL...
