Hi ppl

I have just installed Mediportal on my system that is running Windows Vista 32 bit...
i have an FireDTV Cable card installed and after i have searched in all the channels it tells me it have 128 new channels and i finish the configuration and click to check on "my tv" it will not show any of the channels it told me it found... i dont know why.. it seems like it won't save the list of channels or something like that... is this a known bug or is it new?

I'm new at mediportal but have been using a media center for some time... just wanted to try this as i cant get fireDTV to work on the standard MEdia Center in vista.. it only works with the FireDTV software...

Same here. Im using Twinhan 1030 SAT and 3030 TER.
After install of vista 32bit I decided to install MP RC2.
The scan for channels is working, but after the rapport of found tv 312 I close and go to the channel-list
to see that the list is empty.

Hi,

I also have the same problem. I am running 0.2.3.0 RC2 on Vista 32 bit, hauppage nova-t-500 dvb-t. When I scan for channels, it finds 22 tv channels and 4 radio channels. But when I go back to the channel configuration screen, the channels have not been saved and so therefore cannot be edited or watched. The radio channels are saved.

I can confirm that when switching back to version 0.2.2.0 stable, scan and save works fine.

Will try with 0.2.2.0 and see if that one works... i like mediaportals layout and plugins...

See how you go with it, but Im really looking for a solution because I believe 0.2.3.0 RC2 is more stable...

Hi,

i have the same error with 0.2.3RC2. The autotune (Hauppauge Nova-T PCI) finds 23 channels but the channel list remains empty. Tried to restore from ChannelList.xml file but channel list is still empty.

If you need more information, please let me know.

worked like a charm with 0.2.2.0 for me...

my Hauppauge dualtuner analog tv card works fine, and my FireDT card works.. har to tweak abit before it found all my digital channels but it finnaly stored them... is there a way to keep a copy of the data and import into V 0.2.3 ?
as it will not upgrade 2.2 to 2.3

after some tinkering and head scretching i got 0.2.3RC2

I had to install Mediaportal TV Server to get my tv cards to work.... but now it works like a charm.. well it locks up sometimes but it works...
