Hi all,
Before I post any logs, I just wanted to find out if anyone has had a similar problem to this.
I've searched but can't find any posts that match. I could be looking in the wrong areas.
So here it is.
Occasionally, when I go to MYTV, the TV screen on the right is playing on the last channel selected, but there is no program description at the bottom of the screen.
If I scroll down to "Channel" and select it, the box that pops up (which normally shows the available channels) is empty.
Channel changing from the remote doesn't work, but if I bring up the TV Guide, all of the programs and channels are there.
I normally have to back out of Mediaportal and enter the TV Server configuration. From there I'll reload the "All channels" mapping in XMLTV and save. After that, the descriptions are back to normal and I can change channels. I don't know if just closing and reopening Mediaportal would fix the problem.
The problem can happen after I've been watching recorded TV, a DVD, an AVI file or just when I first bring the PC out of hibernation.
If anyone can point me to a thread where this fault has been seen before (I can't find one), that would be great.
If there isn't a thread that anyone knows about, I'll try to reproduce the problem and post logs.
By the way, I'm running a single seat setup.
Thanks,
Dale
