I don't know if anyone can advise but I'm not picking up all my channels on either on old PCI Liveview FlyTV Prime 30 card nor my new Pinnacle PCTV 330e USB stick.

In my area our provider takes digital signals and re-codes them to provide 15 analog channels.

According to the provider it has the following channels:

Code:
Channel Place Freq
SVT1 E 05 175 25
TV4 E 06 182 25
SVT 2 E 07 189 25
SVT 24 E 08 196 25
TV 6 E 09 203 25
TV3 E 10 210 25
Eurosport E 11 217 25
Lokal kanal S 08 154 25
TV4 Plus S 11 213 25
Kanal 5 S 13 245 25
TV4 sport S 14 252 25
Barnkanalen S 15 259 25
MTV S 16 266 25
Info-TV S 17 273 25
Discovery S 18 280 25

I can only receive those up to Eurosport. i.e. those whose channel numbers are preceeded by "E" not "S". I have NO IDEA what these letters stand for (and I'm not a Swede, so it's possible it's something really obvious in Swedish which I'm missing). It's not purely freq. determined ebcause TV4 Plus has a lower freq than Eurosport (which I get), so it's not just a range issue.

So it's "Kabel-tv" you have? I assume it works when watching/scanning for those channels on a "normal" TV?

E & S and that is different "frequency-bands".

Thanks for your help!

Yup. Kabel-Tv.

Works with no problem on TV. And actually in VirtualDub I can scan and capture all these channels too. But FlyTV's software and WMC *spit* are having no luck.

Now I just have to work on getting MediaPortal to see and use my Pinnacle.

Thanks for the info on E&S. Do you know which they are? I mean with them overlapping, that seems a bit strange...

S18 for example, is "channel-position" S18, but the actual frequency is like 280.28 Mhz.
E10, frequency 210.25 etc.

S is one frequency span, E is another... I don't have the exact details of this. ;)
It's basically names for specific frequencies.

You should try setting the frequencies manually to see if you are having better luck.
