Cheap/simple tuner card thats compatible with MP?? (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, i would like to know if any of those cheap USB tv tuners that are in ebay will work in mediaportal.

i will only be using it 3 months as i am in usa but will return to spain after it and i have been told it will not work, also i will built a htpc so i will get a good pci or pci express one when i get back home.

u just need to be able to watch tv from my room at university, i dont no the type of signal, normal i suppose.

please help me, i really appreciate it.

Sorry I can't add anything more helpful, but if you go with the TV engine 3 (TV server) then it should work with anything that Windows can detect, but I wouldn't want to guarantee anything.

Hopefully someone else will come along from the USA who can shed some more light. I think we have one or two US members here ;-)
