This is my first time installed Media Portal. I find it is a user friendly, powerful os to control my HTPC. But it seen can not support Chinese at all. Is it any plug-in to add?

Thanks in advance.

I am afraid support of chinese is not supported yet.

Problem is, that mp makes graphics of every letter (sign) and the qualitiy decreases with the number of signs to keep.
So, i believe, chinese will be extremely hard.

You can do a search on the forums on "unicode" and "hebrew" to get more details about the problems. You can find a (partly) successfulll way to display song names etc. in hebrew, also some better descriptions of the problem by the dev team.

I hope this problem gets solved one day.

    Thanks your reply.

I'm not a programmer so I can't add the string by risk.

Heard that the chinese version MCE will release at late September. Hope MP will add unicode in near future.

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5 I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try. But I can't give any guarantees.

You can always try, select any window, turn off the Media Portal, change the ID of the selected one to the desired one (plugin) and check.

MP1 MP2 No TV Service DE
Looking at recent activity on the web site, it has been 4 weeks since any of the MP2 developers have been active. They may be taking a short (or an extended) break. For this reason I would suggest that you uninstall MP2 and re-install MP1. The 1.33 version is recommended (in either the 32-bit or 64-bit version). Also, it is pretty...
