Over here in the UK we have a number of channels that will never have advertisements (all of the BBC channels) and it would be really useful if you could select which channels you which comskip to run for. I've noticed that when I record off of something like BBC HD, it then nearly cripples my server while it analyses the file, even though there will never be any adverts to remove.

I second this.. I was about to post a request as well..

Here we have one station that comskip has lots of trouble with and gets things wrong. So much that I've turned that function off.

I run comskip at a lower priority then TV server (read: tv server at a higher priority then comskip ;)), that keeps tv server responsive at all times....

Anyway, I would like to add that it would be nice if you could schedule (or delay with x time) comskip because when I start recording a show/movie that I at some point (while recording) start watching I cannot delete that recording because comskip is then still running on that file (and prevents the files from being deleted).

    Just a minor improvement suggestion.
