Choppy video playback when using extend display (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a W7 specific problem or not.

Basically when I set extend display and play vid via HDMI on my TV, the audio and video are very laggy. I tried various x264 codecs and narrowed it down to the output problem with mediaportal.

When I play the same videos with zp and MPC-HC with extend display, they play flawlessly. The only way to get them to play properly on MP is by using the projector only option.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround/fix?

PS, this problem didn't happen when I was connected to my ext display with VGA.
