I'd like to try some programming against the above mentioned card (with CI/CA module), where can I download the Application Programming Library and the documentation for it?

I'm not sure you'll get anything like that.

What do you try to do ?

Edit : Depending on what you want to achieve you'll have to use the features made available through the BDA driver interface or if you want to go at a lower level check for the driver developed by the linux community.

As you can see the configuration of the tuner is done through I2C bus type.

Thanks for the reply. I'm programming under windows (XP) and believed that there must be a library for programming this card since Media Portal supports it. What I would like to try is to make a simple small (compact) viewer that just can tune the card and show picture (and sound). A tiny-tv, sort of.

Then you have to check for the BDA driver interface. This is a standard interface implemented by DVB(-S,-T,-C) card driver that has been defined by Microsoft.
