Client config halts a "Adding remote section" (1 Viewer)

TV-Server Version: n/a
MediaPortal Version: 1
Windows Version: XP SP3

Trying to install MP client on a PC, to access a separate TV server across the LAN, but when I start the config it gets as far as "Adding remote section", configuration.exe causes the CPU to go to 50% and the PC becomes virtually unresponsive.

Anyone any ideas?

Ahave the same problem. Last message form configuration.log is
