client/server configuration (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I want to install meia portal server on one machine, and install 2 other clients on other machines.
I tried to find some guide which explain step by step doing it but with no luck.
Can anyone share some link to such guide,

Hi!
Use the installer on all machines.
Go to "advanced" and select "dedicated server" on ur server-PC, and "clients" on ur client-PC:s.

Hope this helps, I dont know if there is any speciall info in the wiki regarding this?

Well now, this is an interesting idea...

Not to hijack your thread, but what does this do that say having your data on a storage server and using shared folders not accomplish?

I ask because as this ends up finishing (as much as a project like this ever finishes), four machines and a storage server...if there are advantages to running the software on the server as dedicated and then clients...that might be something to look into...
