Hi everyone,
I have the following problem with MP1.0 on a Client.
I have
1x Client
1x HTPC with TVServer & Client
If HTPC is up and running, Client runs smoothly.
However, if HTPC is turned off and Client is used, e.g. for playing local .mkv-Files, MP 'freezes' from time to time.
For Example, if I scroll down my video list, MP hangs on every 4th or 5th key stroke.
This is very very annoying - MP can't be used properly anymore.
Video Playback runs smoothly - however, play/pause/skip commands are sometimes only executed after s.th. like 10 seconds - very annoying, too.
Someone in the German forum told me that this has to do with the MediaPortal heartbeat (=TVPlugin looking for TVServer; if TVServer is turned off, TVPlugin is waiting for Windows network timeout...).
Is there any workaround?
I don't need TVPlugin to continously check if TVServer is available.
Any hack appreciated.
Thanks,
Heiko
