Hi could some one please advise me on what the best/correct codec is to use for the DVD play of MP. I have MP 1.0.2 and Steamed MP installed. All my movies are direct rips of DVD (movie only,still have the VideoTS folder and 1G Vb files). Moving Picture works great with this, but when I play a movie form the hard drive MP uses the DVD play(codec) to play these back. I see lot of information on how to set up your codes for Video(Avie,mpg etc) but not for the DVD play. I've tried ffdshow, but get green bars on the side of the movie, I've tried Powered and subtitles are forced on by default. MPC codec seems to work, but is this the best codec for DVD? I'd like to get the best upconversions and video inhansments I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
