Combine movies on three HDs into one database? (1 Viewer)

I have my movies spread around on three harddrives. Is there any way to create one large database (using shortcuts?) so when I click on My Videos in mediaportal, I will see all the movies from all three harddrives combined into one database? instead of having to keep switching from harddrive to harddrive to find the movie I want.

I tried creating shortcuts for movies from all three HDs, and putting them into one directory but mediaportal doesn't even display them.

TIA

you should try SUBST command to map the drives/folders into virtual subdirectorys.

If you would access it using FTP - you could use Filezilla FTP server to do that as well - even without subdirectory-need.

You have 2 choices, Moving Picture plugin, or scan the video's from the MP config\video\database, wait for them all to download, correct any errors manually, close config.
Open MP\Videos, select left\right menu depending on which skin and change view from shares to Title, you should now have all your films listed.

    Sorry for stealing the thread...

But what is the difference between MyFilms and Moving Pictures?

Can any of those 2 use the data allready imported into Mediaportal ?
