I've just upgraded from 1.0.2 to 1.1.0 RC2. All of the channels I had set-up in the previous release have imported fine.

I've just scanned in a new channel (C42) on DVB-S and also the same channel on DVB-T. I already have a few channels set-up like this and use the DVB-S source for EPG grabbing only and record from DVB-T. However when I combined the channels this time they appear correctly as one channel in TV server > TV Channels > Channels with Types correctly listed as DVB-S, DVB-T but the channel appears twice in the All Channels Tab with the same channel number. It also shows up twice in MediaPortal. Deleting one of the entries from the All Channels Tab deletes them both.
I didn't have this issue setting up other channels in a similar way with 1.0.2 and I don't believe I'm doing the process differently.

    Thanks

Same here, did a fresh 1.1.0 RC2 install yesterday and re-tuned all my channels. I then combined DVB-t and DVB-s channels and noticed the same issue. As a workaround I created my own channel group and made all the channels a member of this group.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Hopefully it's something they can fix easily for RC3. In the meantime I'll try your workaround.

any chance you could post a couple of screenshots please?

also just to confirm, this channel is new to both DVB-T and DVB-S? (there was not one version there from a previous version, both are new ?)

jameson_uk, attached screenshots based on 'BBC1 Scotland' example. The channel appears once on the channels list, defined as a combination of dvb-s and dvb-t. On the 'All Channels' tab, the channel appears at the top of the list, and again further down (same channel number). Hope that helps, let me know if you need any more information.

Hi, yes it's a new channel called C42 which starts broadcasting in May. It's the same channel available on DVB-S and DVB-T.

I hope these screen shots are what you're after. The first shows the channel combined listed correctly as available on DVB-T & DVB-S. The second shows it listed twice in the All Channels screen with the same channel number. (This is how it shows up in MP)

    Thanks

Same issue here, will post logs if required. I think I first noticed it in RC1. It only seems to affect the All Channels group, so for now I have just created a new group called TV, set it to be the first group added all my channels to it and then disabled the all channels group in the MePo config.

I've tried combining the channels in a different sequence but still have the same result so I'm pretty sure it's not something I'm doing wrong.

Jameson_UK, have you had an opportunity to look at this one yet?
