I use the 7K09 in my bedroom, and while it is a bit cramped to work with, and one has to be careful about the length of the optical drive in relation to the CPU cooler, it has been a great case for me thus far. MB: GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2H LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 9400 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail RAM: A-DATA 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model ADQVE1B16K - Retail CPU: Intel Pentium E2180 Allendale 2.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80557E2180 - Retail DVD: LG Black Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM & 16X DVD±R DVD Burner SATA Model GGC-H20L - Retail HDD: 300GB I had extra from a different build Haven't had any heat issues, I used the stock cooler on the CPU with some AS5. Didn't have a problem with the optical drive, either. I am actually looking at the 7KJ9 for use in my living room with the MSI Media Live! MB and Hauppauge HVR-2250 TV-Tuner card, but I don't know if they'll all fit. - Bob
