commonprogressbar, Start & End time? (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure if this is a bug in MP or if it's the skin or just me but:

in commonprogressbar.xml the line:

<label>#currentremaining</label>

means that the OSD should show the remaining time of the video when you access the OSD, right?. But my OSD just shows the duration of the video.

If I change the line to "#duration", nothing changes, but the OSD is correct. Can some one check if their OSD is showing the duration or remaining time to the right or if it's just mine?

Hi,

This is a decision I have made in the skin.

The Video OSD show;
* how long time has gone since the beginning of the movie
* how long is the movie

The TV OSD show;
* how long time has gone since the start of the program (if a program starts at 20:00 and the clock is 20:15 it will show 15:00)
* how long is the program according to the tv guide

Is there a way to put info like xx mins somewhere remaining in the info screen?

Or maybe even something like this.
Below is a very abstract view of the timebar

start movie------------------------[POS]--------------------------------------------------------------end movie
----------------------[elapsed time / remaining time]---------------------------------------------[totat time]

you can have both elepsed and remaining times moving over the bar from left to right.

Just a thought that came to mind. If you want to do something with it is entirely up to you.

I also really like the time countdown in the OSD. Perhaps there could be an optional version in the installation package?

I have added this in the version to be released soon.

The Video OSD will now show;
