Compiling error - source on network drive (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm trying to build the MediaPortal & TVEngine using the "Build Deploy Release.bat" command.

MP is built just fine, but the TVEngine fails with the following error, related to special characters in file names:

File: failed opening file "..\..\..\TvEngine3\TVLibrary\TVServer.Base\TuningParameters\dvbc\Finland.J?rvenp??-Elisa.xml"
Error in script "Setup\setup.nsi" on line 410 -- aborting creation process

I guess the reason for that is one of the following:
* I got all the sources on a mapped network drive
* My Windows localization

Did anyone run into a similar problem and found a fix or a workaround?

rename the "Finland.Järvenpää-Elisa.xml" file to not to contain any "ä" chars. Known localization issue with the 3rd party installer we are using. Or just delete the .xml file since you aren't most likely going to tune DVB-C frequencies in a specific Finnish city

Another option is to create a new user and set the "Language for non-Unicode programs" to English US. Switch to that user to build MP, that's what I do now.

Another option is to create a new user and set the "Language for non-Unicode programs" to English US. Switch to that user to build MP, that's what I do now.

At me did not work, the setting changes to the system, ie, for all users.
