[QUOTE="henrysinn, post: 530969, member: 97747"] Hi Jim / all. In my attempts to get a remote working with my new installation I have [possibly] 'foolishly' just purchased a Compro Vista E650F. They claim it is a HID compliant device and works with MCE [I don't have MCE installed]. It has HID drivers that I have installed. I am getting absolutely nothing in MP, intelliremote or HIP [Win XP SP3] VideoMate [Compro card] HID seen in system devices. I'm looking like I might be off to the local PC store to get my 4th card with my fingers crossed. Should 'we' have a register for known TV cards that work/ Don't work/ remotes don't work? My findings to date [unless I've missed some other driver or similar] are that Winfast and Compro card/s work [remotes do not]. Any thoughts / help would be appreciated. Henry Upon closer testing and inspection it seems there is a component of their software that needs to be installed and running. It is called ComproRemote.exe and was installed when I installed their software suite for testing [I did not want to do]. Problem fixed Install Compro software. Remove / disable their primary "ComproScheduleDTV.exe" software. Leave their remote "ComproRemote.exe" software running. [/QUOTE]
