Compro VideoMate U80 DVB-T Stick (1 Viewer)

Hello ! Mediaportal - is a great thing ! But i need some help !

I buy Compro VideoMate U80 DVB-T Stick, it is a realy good working with mediacenter (vista) , but i do not like it.. and my another card (pinnacle dual dvb-s ) is not working in mediacenter .....

I put Compro VideoMate U80 DVB-T Stick, and i see it in my system like Compro VideoMate U100 DVB-T Stick, i see this card in mediaportal tv configuration... but i can not finde a channel!

In other programs (mediacenter ) i see 20-40 channels and radio....

Can somebody help with this problem ?

I run a Compro U100 in my system (Vista32 Home Basic + MP 1.0.2) and it works OK, so if the U80 is using the U100 drivers it should be OK.

Can you post your system specs please (see link below for instructions) - we don't know anything about your system at the moment....

OK, a few questions...

1. In Windows Device manager -> U100 -> Properties, what are the U80/U100 driver version ('Driver' tab) and the Hardware IDs ('Details' tab)?

2. Does the Pinnacle DVB-S card work OK in MediaPortal ?

I've attached the latest version of the U100 drivers, in case you want to try it - do an 'Update Drivers' in Device Manager to install them.

Hmmm i entered all info includes driver version.....

VideoMate U1xx digital driver 5.63.1.8
USB\VID_185B&PID_0150&REV_0100

Pinnacle card work - great !

I try to set another region - but nothing changes..... ( I am not from Prague, but my region is not in region List... i try all - but nothing)

Ok - you already have the latest drivers...(the same version I use).

Have you tried disabling the Pinnacle card in Device manager and then scanning for channels on the U1xx in TV-server ?

Yes of course !

But still nothing !

In Czech Republic more then 4 Station of DVB-T , may be what's why i can not see the channel ?
In other soft it simply scan all frequency....

If you have tried 'Czech Republic - All Regions' (or equivalent) and it doesn't find anything, then all I can think of is maybe trying another country selection - UK or Germany maybe ?

Ok...

Attached is an *experimental* 'Czech Republic.All Regions.xml' tuning file - find the folder that contains the TV-server .xml tuning files e.g. search for 'Czech Republic.Prague.xml' and drop the new file into that folder.

Hopefully 'Czech Republic - All Regions' will show up as a selection in TV-server config - it should do an all-channels scan.
